Profile of Amita McNeil

Born in London, England, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Sheffield Hallam University.  In 1996, I left England and lived in Boston and New York until 2001 when I relocated with my husband and new baby to Nova Scotia. I am currently living and enjoying a strong sense of community in Fall River, Nova Scotia.

A strong advocate of complementary therapies, I trained and received my Reflexology Certification from the Reflexology Association of Canada in spring 2006.

I believe that complementary therapies such as Reflexology can work "together" with traditional medicine, allowing for an overall holistic approach to healing by treating the mind, body and spirit and not just the prevailing symptoms.

I am a fully insured, Registered Certified Reflexologist (RCR) and a professional member of the:

  • Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC)
  • Nova Scotia Association of Reflexology Practitioners (NSARP)
  • Centre for Women in Business (Mount Saint Vincent’s University)

I also have Reiki Level I Certification.

I am passionate about my family, friends, community and work.  Through my work, I hope to increase public awareness of the complementary and preventative therapies available, working collaboratively with the medical community to offer a complete approach to healing and the elimination of disease.
